Is Kindra AI University an accredited university?

Kindra is an independent education institution. We are not affiliated with any traditional accrediting body and we do not claim to be. A Kindra credential is what the Credential Methodology page says it is — no more, no less. The institutional rigor lives in the standards we hold ourselves to and the public verifiability of every credential we issue.

Who is Kindra for?

Curious professionals who want to understand AI as a serious discipline. Founders, operators, designers, analysts, learning directors, and the working public. There are no prerequisites for the Foundation pathway beyond curiosity and a willingness to read carefully.

How long does a pathway take?

Foundation pathways are designed for roughly six hours of focused work. Applied and Advanced pathways are longer — typically eight to fourteen hours. We deliberately do not gamify time-on-platform. Learners may proceed at the pace that suits them.

Is the curriculum AI-generated?

No. Lessons are authored by named human contributors and reviewed before publication. AI may be used as a drafting assistant — and where it is, the human author still reviews, edits, and owns the final text. See AI Usage Philosophy.

How do credentials work?

On completion of every lesson in a course, the platform issues a verifiable credential with a public verification URL. Anyone with the code can verify the credential directly with the institution. The verification page is the authoritative record.

Does Kindra share my data with AI providers for training?

No. Personal account data is not used to train any third-party model. When a feature like Explain Simpler sends content to an AI provider in the course of serving a request, that content is not retained by the institution for training, and to our knowledge and per the provider’s terms, not retained by them for training.

Can I share my credential publicly?

Yes. Each credential has a permanent public verification URL. You may link to it from a résumé, professional profile, or anywhere a verifiable record is useful. The page does not expose any personal data beyond your name as enrolled.

What if I find an error in a lesson?

Write to registrar@kindraai.dev with the lesson title and the line in question. Corrections are appended to the lesson page on the record with the date of the change and the reason. We do not silently rewrite history.

Is there a refund policy?

The Foundation pathway is free and will remain so. For paid pathways, we honor a clean no-questions refund within thirty days of purchase. Email registrar@kindraai.dev to begin the refund.

Does Kindra send marketing emails?

No. Email from Kindra is reserved for administrative records — credential issuance, password resets, and verification confirmations. We do not send promotional emails, weekly digests, or re-engagement nudges. The product invites you back; we do not.
